About Us

Our Curriculum

In the full-day classrooms, the center uses The Creative Curriculum, which is Colorado’s leading early childhood education curriculum, and incorporates Biblical concepts and theories which together promote growth and harmony, and develop intrapersonal skills (understanding of and relationship with one’s self), interpersonal skills (understanding of and relationship with others), communication skills, judgment, and accountability.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to partner with God and families in providing children with the best care that includes a safe and nurturing environment, a strong educational foundation, and a supportive social and emotional community for them to grow into their unique identities.

Our Values:

We at Sprouts share the following values:

  • Children are created in the image of God and therefore are of utmost worth and value.
  • As believers in Jesus Christ, we are fully loved and accepted and so we offer acceptance and love to others.
  • All children have a unique purpose and calling and we want to support the growth and development of that.
  • We believe in partnering with families to guide and teach children and maintain a positive, healthy and stimulating environment for our children.
  • We believe our teaching environment should provide a safe, organized physical environment; teaching from an adaptable and relevant curriculum, where learning is fun, child-initiated and teacher facilitated; and using developmentally appropriate practices which meet the growth and developmental needs of the whole child including areas of cognitive, social-emotional, physical, spiritual, language, cultural and creativity.
  • We support our teachers as they actively engage in finding opportunities where learning is occurring and creating teachable moments.
  • Finally, we value appraisal and evaluation, as we constantly asses if and how well we are meeting the needs of children and families.
