Our Teachers
The teachers and administrators at the center are highly-qualified and trained in the areas of early childhood education and counseling, and are living branches of the root of the Christian faith. Their mission and purpose is to provide the children loving guidance, affectionate nurturing, creative teaching and an environment where children are easily engaged and supported in their learning.
The primary role of our teachers is to identify where each child is in their current developmental stage, work with parents and primary caregivers to identify appropriate goals, cultivate a strategy to meet those goals, and actively engage with each child to attain them. In the process, and using the values and strategies outlined above, our teachers conduct child observations, develop lesson plans, facilitate learning, communicate progress with parents, and evaluate processes and methods on a constant basis throughout the year.
Personal qualities of our teachers include being dedicated lovers of Christ and children, compassionate and kind, patient, insightful, energetic, knowledgeable in early childhood education and in the Scriptures, confident, fun-loving, firm and consistent, self-aware, and willing and able to hear from God and learn from Him every day. Possession of these qualities is a requirement for every Sprouts teacher.
